Beer festival weekend is now August the 8th, 9th and 10th!

This year sample 32 ales, 12 traditional ciders and a beer festival atmosphere only the Plough can create

Welcome to the Plough and Harrow public house in Monknash in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales.

The Plough has long had a reputation for a warm welcoming atmosphere, the finest real ales and excellent freshly-cooked food. The Plough continues to go from strength to strength and the wholly positive responses of our customers to everything we do is a constant delight to myself and my staff.

The Ploughs attraction is based upon the charm of the building itself which dates back to the twelfth century and its location, surrounded by beautiful countryside in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan. Where else would anyone want to spend a long hot summer day but in the garden of the Plough? Or a cold winter night in front of one of the two roaring log fires?

With an ever-changing menu of both food and ales theres always a reason to visit us whether you've never been to us before or you're a seasoned veteran. The Plough is never one of those places where you've seen it all - As Alistair Sawday puts it so well - "The kind of pub you wish was your local"

There's always a warm welcome at the Plough!
